Task-oriented strategies

  1. What are the intervention strategies of task-oriented approach?

Expanding upon the above, the task-orientated approach assumes that the patient learns through actively attempting to solve problems inherent in functional tasks. Thereafter, intervention concurrently strategies are:

-resolve, reduce or prevent impairments

-develop effective and efficient task-specific strategies

-adapt functional goal-orientated strategies to changing tasks and environmental conditions (maximizing participation whilst minimizing disablement)

Rehabilitation may use techniques to focus on impairment level intervention, strategy level intervention, quantitive orientated functional level intervention, and/or participation orientated intervention.
